Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are undergraduate sophomores or juniors at an accredited U.S. college or university. They must be studying a subject in agriculture or the biological sciences and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must agree to work for the Agency during school breaks (both summer and holiday breaks) a minimum of 640 hours prior to completion of studies. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
How to Apply
Applications are available by request from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. An application form, personal statement, transcript, three recommendation letters and documentation of U.S. military service (if applicable) are required.
