Eligibility

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and legal residents of Tennessee. They must be enrolled full time in a funeral service or mortuary science program at a school that has been accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE). They must have completed one term of their program and must have at least one term remaining in their program. They must have plans to practice in Tennessee after graduating. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

How to Apply

Applications are available online. An application form, transcript, copies of federal income tax forms, one recommendation letter and a personal essay are required.
