Eligibility

Applicants must be average students involved in school, church and community activities with strong beliefs in the importance of patriotic organizations such as the American Legion. They must have a GPA between 2.0 and 3.0 with an improving outlook on life. Students must show need and have set goals upon graduating from high school. A minimum 500-word essay is required.
