Eligibility
Applicants must attend high school in the Pittsburgh Public School District (PPS) as graduating seniors and have demonstrated leadership at school and/or in the community. Students must pursue a degree or studies in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), formal science (such as computer science, computer information systems, mathematics), natural science (such as physics, chemistry, or biology), or applied science (such as engineering or medicine). Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 during post-secondary education. Students must plan to attend an undergraduate program in a 2- or 4-year university/college or technical college in the fall of the academic year following high-school graduation as full-time students. Applicants must be a student who demonstrates a passion for technology and preference will be given to students living with disabilities.
