Eligibility

Applicants must be middle and high school students, grades 6 through 12, living in Kentucky or the 812 area code of Southern Indiana. All young writers are encouraged to submit their play to the festival. Every year 8-10 short plays are chosen to produce in The New Voices Young Playwrights Festival, which takes place in April at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
