Applicants must be children of employees of an electric cooperative or municipal electric utility or contractors participating in TEC Loss Control services. Students must graduate from high school or earn a GED in the same year that the scholarship is awarded. Applicants must enroll in a college or trade school. Students must submit two letters of recommendation, a 300-word essay, a description of volunteer involvement, a description of supervised work activities, a statement of goals for the future and a high school transcript or proof of GED score.
