Applicants must be full-time students and must be U.S. permanent residents to be eligible. Students must be residents of Bedford or Blair County, Pennsylvania to receive the scholarship. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible. The scholarship essay should include goals and objectives in terms of going back to school, challenges involved in being an adult learner, parents' financial need for this scholarship and involvement with church and religious upbringing. Continuation of scholarship into the second year is possible upon reapplication and proof of having met the criteria. The scholarship will be awarded to a non-traditional student who demonstrates good morals and Christian character.
