Eligibility

Applicants must be incoming freshmen majoring in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.75 (performance in science, technology and mathematics courses will receive additional consideration). Applicants must be Virginia residents, first-generation college students and must have applied to the Honors College. Eligible students are encouraged to apply any time prior to the deadline including before they are notified about acceptance to James Madison University.
