Eligibility

Applicants must be graduating seniors or graduates of a public or private high school in the greater San Francisco Bay Area which includes the following: San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties. Students must be planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college, university or police academy full-time with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants must be United States citizens and demonstrate a desire and a plan to pursue a career in police work, corrections or other criminal justice fields. Law school students are not eligible to apply.
