Eligibility

Applicants must be Alabama residents who are high school seniors and have completed a scientific research project and an accompanying report of no more than 20 pages. They must have completed all college entrance requirements by October 1 of the year of application submission. Selection is based on the quality of the scientific research paper that is submitted as part of the application.

Applications are available online. An entry form, research paper, official transcript, one letter of recommendation and additional research-related documentation are required.
