Eligibility
Applicants must be Colorado high school seniors whose schools are members of the Colorado Student Media Association. Students must have worked on their yearbook or newspaper for at least two years. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required. Selection criteria include neatness (10 percent), quality of work (40 percent), personal statement (20 percent), letters of recommendation (20 percent) and grades (10 percent).
How to Apply
Applications are available online. An application form, personal statement, transcript, three to four letters of recommendation, samples of published work and action photo are required.
