Eligibility

Applicants must be attending a college, university or junior college in Texas and must be preparing for a career in journalism. Students must take at least six academic hours a semester and have a minimum GPA of 2.25 at time of application and for the duration of the award. This scholarship recognizes various types of writing, including news, arts, lifestyle and people.
