Applicants must have graduated from high school in the last two years, reside in Jackson County and be attending or planning to attend a public or nonprofit college or university at least half-time. Students must have a grade point average of at least 2.5, with the expectation that GPA will continue to rise during schooling. Applicants must fill out the FAFSA. Selection is based on financial need and the overall strength of the application, with preference given to graduates of Prospect High School.
