Eligibility

Applicants must be African American U.S. citizens (at least one parent must be African American). Students must also be graduating high school seniors or college transfer students. They are required to submit a ministerial recommendation, submit a personal essay of no more than two pages or 500 words describing their leadership experience and goals and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
