Roughly 10 percent of the United States population is left-handed... It's more rare than I thought it was.

"I, myself, am left-handed and have spent the last 19 years living in a right-handed world, dealing with righty scissors and can openers. I wanted to find scholarships out there for people like me. I learned that roughly 10% of the U.S. population is left-handed; it's more rare than I thought! Sadly, there are very few scholarships for left-handed people, and the only official one is the Frederick and Mary F Beckley Left Handed Scholarship, listed below."

If it's impossible for you to borrow a friend's baseball glove... If you smudge the ink while writing on paper... if you can never win arm-wrestling competitions right-handed... then you're one of the few students eligible for exclusive left-handed scholarships.
