Scholarships

Net Literacy is providing scholarships to students who promote financial management. To apply, students must create a 2-3 minute video that touches on one of the financial topics provided. The last day for submission is December 31, 2011.

This annual scholarship is available to horse enthusiasts and members of Arabian Horse Association. The deadline to apply for each year is April 1st.

The University of Phoenix launched it's new scholarship program, Paying it Forward. UoP alumni have the opportunity to nominate current students for a scholarship, and 30 nominees will be chosen to receive the awards.

This scholarship program is open to women of African descent, who are living and studying in Africa. Scholarships are renewable annually and the application period spans from August 1 - October 30, 2011.

The ISA is providing surf scholarships to students around the globe through their Individual Scholarship Program. Applicants must be junior surfers under age 18 who are in need of financial assistance. The deadline to apply for the 2012 scholarship is December 21, 2011.

This international scholarship is available to women who are pursuing a degree in business or a business related field. Zonta International provides a number of scholarships, including 12, $5,000 awards. The 2011 application deadlines vary by club, but applications are presented to the Governor July 1.

SAE offers a number of engineering scholarships for students looking to pursue a degree in engineering. Scholarships are available for all grade levels from high school seniors to Ph.D. candidates. Deadlines vary.

The AES scholarship is open to students in all fields of study who are high school seniors or enrolled in a postsecondary institution. To apply, students must submit an essay on the topic "What impact will the Natural Disasters of 2010 have on the global economy? How should these events affect future political, business and personal decisions?" Deadline to apply is October 7, 2011.

This scholarship is open to all high school or college students who are or will be enrolled in college within the next 12 months. Applicants can apply online and submit a short essay on any topic (yes, you can reuse an essay)! Application periods are from January 1 - July 31, 2011 and August 1 - December 31, 2011.

WildpopRecords.com is giving away $10,000 in scholarships. To apply, all you have to do is register for Wildpop Records online and you are automatically entered. The next application deadline is August 15, 2011.
