United States Scholarships

The PsychologyDegree.net Honors Scholarship is open to any student who displays academic excellence. To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, enrolled in an accredited college or university, received some form of academic recognition, and consent to providing a self photograph and quote to be displayed on PsychologyDegree.net. For a chance to win the $500 scholarship, submit a completed application by October 1.

The American Assembly for Men in Nursing Foundation promotes and accepts essays from pre-licensure male students currently enrolled at an accredited school of nursing. For a chance to win the $500 scholarship, essays reflecting upon why the applicant chose to practice nursing must be mailed to AAMN by September 1.

Sanyo's Design Contest is aimed towards design students with a passion for fashion, and would like the chance to have their design included in the company's Fall collection. The contest is open to entrants 18 years or older who are permanent residents of the contest country, and are enrolled at an accredited university within the United States. Entries must be received between 12:00 AM, August 8, and 11:59 PM, September 8. The winner will receive $500 for their design.

Sponsored by Citizens Bank, the TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship challenges applicants to prove their good citizenship. Submit a 500-word or less essay or a 90-second or less video describing how you get involved in your community for a chance to win a $1,000 to $7,500. Entries must be submitted by September 16.

The Lular Carson Estate Scholarship awards one $500 scholarship to one Fine Arts student at Cheyney University. The recipient must be enrolled full-time and be in good standing at the institution. The application deadline is August 26.

The National Federation of the Blind provides blind college students in the United States the opportunity to win one of thirty scholarships from $3,000-$12,000. Eligible students should submit one application form, with one essay and accompanying documents, by March 31

The Terry L. Priest scholarship provides for undergraduate students who plan to pursue a career in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management. Application information will be posted in September, with a November deadline.

Twice a year, GetEducated.com awards $1,000 scholarships to distance learning students participating in accredited online university degree programs. Awards are based on merit and financial aid need, as part of the organization's mission to help cut the cost of online college. To apply, submit an application, with a 500-word essay describing what an online college degree means to you, by October 15 or March 15.

The QuestBridge National College Match helps low-income high school seniors gain full four-year funding to college. Students who have achieved academic excellence despite economic challenges are invited to apply to National College Match. Students should submit a transcript, test scores, and essays by September 30.
