United States Scholarships

The 10K Scholarship is given away twice a year. The $10,000 Grant can be used for any educational opportunity, including GED coursework, Certificate Programs, Undergraduate & Graduate School, Distance Learning, Home-Based Study, Continuing Education and Career Training. You must be at least 17 years of age and a US resident to enter.

Pacific Coast Archaeological Society (PCAS) offers an annual $500 scholarship. This award is in keeping with our mandate to encourage interest and education in the discipline of Archaeology. Eligibility for this scholarship has been expanded to include all students who have achieved Junior status at a four-year university, either those who are transferring from a community college or those already enrolled at a four-year university.

This organization offers three different scholarships, which all have different requirements and award different amounts of scholarships. 1) Fort Dodge Animal Health Legacy Scholarship for veterinary and animal science students. 2) Beef Industry Scholarships for those entering the beef industry. 3) W.D. Farr Legacy Scholarship for those pursuing degrees in animal science, environmental science (water) or agriculture.

The 2007-08 Dale E. Fridell Memorial Scholarship is open to anyone currently attending or aspiring to attend a university, college, trade school, technical institute, vocational training or other post-secondary education program in the 2007-08 academic year. In addition, eligible students may not have already been receiving or awarded a full-tuition scholarship or waiver from another source. International students are welcome to apply.

We're giving away $1,000 this year to a college student this year who is studying in the field of Library and Information Science. Eligibility Requirements: Candidates for our Library and Information Science scholarship must meet the following criteria * U.S. citizen; * 3.0 GPA; * Currently attending in post-secondary education (undergraduate or graduate); and * Major in Library or Information Science, or primarily study any of these subjects

The Brickfish/Varsity Books My Job_! Scholarship Contest is available to any student over 14. To apply for this scholarship, you must submit a photo, blog or video on the following topic: What is your most memorable story about a current or past job? 1st prize: $2,000 scholarship with no restrictions on use. 2nd Prize: A one year subscription to Netflix & a one year sub to Yahoo! Unlimited Music. The number of votes they receive by their peers will select winners. Limit: 1 vote per person, per day. Anyone is eligible to vote. You must submit an online application by October 31, 2006 at 11:59 pm EST.

OnlineColleges.org is offering a $10,000 scholarship to a single parent enrolled in a post-secondary institution. Unlike most scholarships, this one will help pay for living expenses for the 2012 year, rather than tuition. The application deadline is November 1, 2011 and a winner will be chosen December 1, 2011.

CCEC is providing five $4,000 scholarships to high school seniors to be used on four years of postsecondary education. Applicants must live on CCEC lines and have been accepted to a 2 or 4 year college or university. Deadline to apply is March 2, 2012.

The Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs provides a variety of scholarships in 3 categories: Racial Justice, Social Justice, and Community Engagement.
