This award provides financial assistance to needy graduating seniors pursuing degrees that enhance rural communities. During the freshman year, the scholarship amount is $1,750 and can be renewed up to four (4) years for students maintaining a 3.0+ GPA. Each successive year the award increases ($2,000, $2,250 and $2,500) and is subject to Scholarship Committee review and approval.

Frank P. Zeidler International Graduate Student Travel Award. Frank P. Zeidler International Graduate Student Travel Award. It offers two round trip airfares from anywhere in the world to the University of WIsconsin-Milwaukee. The award is for any foreign student wishing to obtain a Masters' degree (MA) in American History. The student is also to apply for a teaching assistantship in the History Department. The program is two years and the applicant must know English well enough to conduct Undergraduate discussions. The total income will provide full monetary support for the foreign student's expenses. Application Deadline is Jan 1, 2007.
