SciTech Scholarships provide up to $3,000 per year based on total educational costs (tuition and mandatory fees, room and board, and an allowance for books) to students who are enrolled full-time, for a maximum of three years (with certain exceptions for approved five-year degree programs).
To qualify you must:
* Be a resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
* Be a high school graduate.
* Be at least a sophomore who is enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in an approved science or technology field at an approved Pennsylvania public or private college or university.
* Work experience/internships can be credit or noncredit.
* Complete an approved internship or relevant work experience in a field related to the student's major with a Pennsylvania company prior to receiving a degree. For more information, see SciTech Internship Institutional Guidelines (95 KB PDF).
* Begin employment in the state within one year after completion of studies, one year for each year that the scholarship was awarded. You must provide verification of continued employment (158 KB PDF) every six months. See CareerLink for information about employment. If you begin full-time graduate study within one year of receiving your baccalaureate degree, you may request deferment of the work obligation. + The Albright College Warren L. Davis Scholarships are full-tuition scholarships, worth $26,620 for the 2006-2007 academic year and approximately $110,000 over four years.
+ The College invites about 75 of its top applicants to apply for these scholarships and awards two Davis Scholarships each year. The Davis scholarship is renewable as long as the student maintains a 3.3 grade point average.

Each year, Ursinus chooses up to six candidates as most outstanding from the total pool of national applicants. The Zacharias National Scholarship is $25,000 per year, renewable for four years. These students have demonstrated superior high school academic achievement, intellectual gifts and the potential for becoming leaders in their chosen fields. Seriousness of purpose, a record of independence and credentials such as National Merit Finalist, Governor's School attendee and other national and state recognitions weigh heavily in the selection process. Scholars are eligible to apply for a $2,500 summer research grant to pursue their interests while at Ursinus.

+ Pennsylvania Federation of Democratic Women, Inc. Scholarships
+ The Pennsylvania Federation of Democratic Women, Inc (PFDW) awards scholarships to any Pennsylvania woman student in the junior class of an accredited college or university. Applicants must possess a Democratic Party family background or be an active participant in activities of the Democratic Party. Each of the scholarships awarded is $1000 and is intended for use during the student's senior year. Winners will be invited to a luncheon at the annual convention.

The St. Andrew's Society of Philadelphia awards five $17,000 scholarships annually to sophomore students from local universities to spend their junior year studying at one of four Scottish universities. Applicants should be in their sophomore year, be from the Delaware Valley, and possess a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Students from most disciplines may apply; the credits earned during the junior year in Scotland will apply to the Temple University degree. A Temple faculty committee interviews candidates. One Temple student is then nominated to compete with approximately 15 students nominated from other universities for the five scholarships. Application Deadline: February 1.

At Seton Hill University, there are a number of scholarships available to incoming freshman. Check them out!
Presidential Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students in the top 10%, 20%, or 30% of their graduating class. This amount can add up to half off of tuition.
In addition, any student with combined SAT Reading and Math scores of 1100 or higher, and a B average or better and who does not have a class rank may compete for 30% off of tuition based on three letters of recommendation and an essay.
Valedictorian Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the top student in their graduating class. This amount is valued from 42% to 52% off of tuition.
Honors Scholarship: This scholarship is valued at $2,000. To be eligible, students must have a cumulative GPA of a 3.5 or higher and score 1100 or higher on the SAT (24 or higher on the ACT). Upon receipt of this scholarship, students are qualified for Honors housing in one of our new dorms. They will also be participating in the Honors Program at Seton Hill University.
Division Scholarship: The Division Scholarship can range from $500 - $5,000. It is awarded to students who excel academically, and also excel in their chosen area of study. This award is given in the Natural Health Sciences, Visual and Performing Arts, Humanities, Education and the Social Sciences Division.
SAT Scholarship: If a student scores 1100 or higher on the SAT (24 or higher on the ACT), and they do not rank in the top 30% of their class, they will be eligible for a $4,000 scholarship, renewed annually.
Rising Star Scholarship: Any student that has successfully graduated from a Catholic High School is automatically granted the $1,000 scholarship, totaling $4,000 in 4 years at Seton Hill University.
Transfer Scholarship: Valued at $5,000/year if you have been enrolled at your current institution for 2 consecutive semesters, full time (12 credits or more) and a 3.5 or higher.
Athletics Scholarship: Athletic Scholarships are available in all 21 sports represented on campus.
