Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations Full Tuition Scholarship
http://www.case.edu/mandelcenter/grad/full_tuition_scholarship.html
Since 1987, the Mandel Center has set a high standard in graduate education for nonprofit leaders and managers. Over the last fifteen (15) years, we have developed an array of precedent-setting programs. These programs share a common purpose: to meet the persistent demand for innovative and thoughtful leaders and managers of nonprofit organizations. We accomplish this purpose by providing our graduates with the managerial skills and knowledge to address the challenges nonprofits face in an increasingly difficult social, political, and economic climate. 1.
The Mandel Center offers an array of scholarships and financial aid assistance in addition to this special full-tuition scholarship that will provide support based on merit and financial need. We will work with you to make your education as cost effective as possible!
Full-time applicants for the Master of Nonprofit Organizations (MNO) degree may qualify for a merit-based full tuition scholarship. To be considered for this award, you must:
*
Be an applicant for either the full-time MNO degree program or the full-time MNO-Executive Option.
*
Have outstanding academic credentials.
*
Demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in the nonprofit sector.
*
Possess high potential for leadership in the nonprofit sector.
*
Be applying for the Fall 2006 semester.
All finalists for this award will be required to participate in an interview process.
2.
Interested applicants must submit all application materials required for the MNO by February 15, 2006. A separate scholarship application is not required. Simply indicate your desire to apply for the full tuition scholarship on the top of the application form.
3.
A GMAT score is required as part of the application process for the MNO. When registering for the GMAT, please request that the scores be sent to Case Western Reserve University (Code 1105). Your application is not considered complete until the official scores have been received by Case. (It is important to note that it can take several weeks from the time that the test is taken to the time that the official scores are received by Case. Please plan accordingly so that your application is complete by February 15, 2006.)
4.
The scholarship decision will be made by March 1, 2006.
5.
Case dual degree students are not eligible for the full tuition scholarship.
6.
If the recipient of the full tuition scholarship is an international student, the recipient must obtain a United States visa by May 1, 2006.
