Entrepreneurial Scholars Program from Washington University
Incoming first-year undergraduate students who apply to any undergraduate division at Washington University may apply for the Entrepreneurial Scholars Program, which awards $3,000 scholarships for up to eight students. The scholarship is awarded for four years of study as long as the student is making satisfactory progress toward the degree.
Entrepreneurial Scholars Program
These four-year scholarships are designed for students with entrepreneurial spirit and vision. Scholars have a variety of opportunities to explore entrepreneurship and community building through activities both on campus and in the St. Louis community. The Entrepreneurial Scholars Program seeks students who are innovative, creative, energetic, and eager to make a difference in their communities.
MIssouri Western State University Non-Traditional Student Scholarships

The deadline for most scholarships is March 1st of each year, unless noted otherwise. Scholarships listed with a priority deadline will continue to be awarded after March 1st as funds are available.

All recipients of Western Scholarships must complete the FAFSA.

Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours to receive Western scholarships, unless noted otherwise in the scholarship description.

Students receiving more than $2,500 per semester in Western Scholarships are required to live in the residence halls. Western scholarships will be reduced to a maximum of $2,500 per semester for students choosing to live off-campus.

Western Scholarships may be reduced or cancelled if the total awards (from all sources) exceed the student's Cost of Attendance Budget.

Scholarships will be awarded annually as funding from endowments is available.
MIssouri Corn Scholarships
Missouri Corn programs award $4,500 in student scholarships each year. In 2006, Missouri Corn programs will award two $750 scholarships to college juniors and four $750 scholarships to high school seniors.
Applicants must submit an application form, official high school or college transcript and at least one letter of recommendation to the Missouri Corn office.
High school applicants must be Missouri residents from a Missouri farm or rural area. They must also plan to attend a two-year or four-year Missouri college or university and major in agronomy (or related subject). The scholarship funds will apply toward the freshman year of college expenses for high school senior winners.
College applicants must also be Missouri residents from a Missouri farm or rural area, and currently be a junior enrolled in a Missouri four-year college or university majoring in the field of agronomy (or related subject) during the time of application. The scholarship funds will apply toward the senior year of expenses for college junior winners.

Washington University in St. Louis Howard Nemerov Writing Scholarships�Arts & Sciences
* Up to six $3,000 scholarships
* Renewable annually
* Arts & Sciences applicants who apply for the Howard Nemerov Writing Scholarships may also apply for the full-tuition Compton, Mylonas, Moog, or Lien Scholarships, as well as for the Entrepreneurial Scholars Program, Ervin Scholars Program, Friends of Music Scholars Program, or Rodriguez Scholars Program.
Washington University�s College of Arts & Sciences awards the Howard Nemerov Writing Scholarships to up to six entering freshmen who are gifted writers. The award is renewable for four years, as long as the Scholar is making satisfactory progress toward the degree.
John Dennis Scholarship
Applications must be submitted by Jan. 31 for the scholarship, in the amount of $500, which will be presented to 16 college-bound Missouri high school seniors who intend to pursue a career in criminal justice and will be attending a Missouri college or university.
Applicants must be in good standing with their school, have a good reference from a school counselor, demonstrate financial need, have a cumulative grade point of 2.0 or greater and be active in extra-curricular activities. Attached to the scholarship application must be a paragraph detailing the student's goals 10 years after high school graduation.
Those seniors interested in applying for the scholarship may contact the Missouri Sheriff's Association, 229 Madison Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101, to obtain an application.
Washington University in St. Louis Honorary Scholars Program in Arts & Sciences
Each year, the College of Arts & Sciences awards academic scholarships to incoming freshmen in honor of distinguished Washington University teachers and scholars. Each student who is selected as a Compton, Mylonas, Moog, or Lien Honorary Scholar receives an award of full tuition and an annual $1,000 stipend. All scholarships are awarded for each of the four years of study, as long as the Scholars are making satisfactory progress toward the Bachelor of Arts degree.
In addition to the Honorary Scholars, up to 24 scholarship applicants are named Liselotte Dieckmann Scholars and awarded four-year half-tuition scholarships.
