Maryland State Fair Scholarships
The Maryland State Fair offers two scholarships for students. Each scholarship is very different so please read all of the requirements carefully to determine which scholarship is best for you!
Individuals may apply for both the Maryland State Fair Scholarship and The Marlin K. Hoff Scholarship; however, individuals may not be recipients of both scholarships. Recipients of the Maryland State Fair Scholarship and the Marlin K. Hoff Scholarship will be recognized during the Maryland State Fair at a special awards ceremony.
Johns Hopkins Medical School Scholarships
These scholarships are for students with financial need unless otherwise noted. Most of these funds are awarded to qualified students by the Office of Financial Aid and do not require a special application process. An endowed fund totaling $1 million or more is given the prestigious designation of Hopkins Scholarship.
Maryland State Senatorial Scholarship
The minimum annual award amount is $200 and the maximum award is $2,000. You may hold the Senatorial Scholarship with all State awards. The total dollar amount of all State awards may not exceed your cost of attendance as determined by your school's financial aid office or $17,800, whichever is less. Funds may not be available to award all eligible students.
