To be eligible for Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarships, you must: be a resident of the state of Hawaii; demonstrate financial need; plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as either an undergraduate or graduate student; be a full-time student (12 credits undergraduate; 9 credits graduate); demonstrate academic achievement; and demonstrate good moral character. HPU offers competitive academic and activity-based scholarship awards to deserving students. These scholarships are awarded largely to incoming freshmen who are graduates of high schools in Hawaii. A number of academic-based scholarships are also awarded to incoming freshmen from outside of the state. Students who have completed two semesters at the University and who are academically qualified may also apply for the merit-based Hawaii Pacific University Scholarship.
