2007 Scholarship Competition
Digital Media Arts College would like to invite you to participate in their 2007 scholarship competition. This competition is limited to all Florida high school seniors. Two full undergraduate Scholarships will be awarded. To be applied toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts
degree in Graphic Design or Computer Animation.
Florida International University University-Wide Scholarship Opportunities
The University is grateful to the donors who have provided these private scholarships. Recipients will be asked to write a thank you letter to the donor acknowledging the awarding of their scholarship. The amounts listed for each scholarship indicate the total amount available for the 2006-2007 academic year. In most instances, the amounts will be divided among several recipients, with half being given in the fall and half in the spring semester. The minimum amount for a scholarship award will be $500.00.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS - See additional specific criteria for each award. Fully admitted, undergraduate OR graduate, degree-seeking student. Undergraduate students must have cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, unless otherwise indicated. Graduate students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher, unless otherwise indicated. Must be enrolled in at least 9 undergraduate credits or 6 graduate credits during the term of the award, unless otherwise indicated. Submission of a typed essay (two-page maximum) about yourself that describes your educational goals and tells how being a recipient of a scholarship will help you fulfill them.
University of Florida University Women's Club Scholarships
The University Women's Club is an organization comprised of the wives of faculty and staff, and female faculty and staff. Each spring, they award scholarships to honor the wives of past presidents of the University of Florida as well as wives of distinguished campus leaders. Each of these ladies has served the University during her husband's career at the University of Florida and their service is being recognized by the University Women's Club through the Scholarship Awards. The scholarships are for $1000.00.
Nomination forms will be sent to all faculty and staff in the beginning of the Spring 2006 term. Completed applications will be due on February 16, 2006, and recipients will be recognized during the University Women's Club annual business meeting in April 2006. Applications can be obtained from the Dean of Students Office, 202 Peabody Hall or online.
Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program
In 1997, the Florida Legislature created the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program. This Florida Lottery-Funded scholarship rewards students for their academic achievements during high school by providing funding for them to pursue postsecondary educational and career goals in Florida.
During the 2003-04 award year, over 120,000 Florida students received funding for a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship.

2005 high school graduates may apply for a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship with the Florida Financial Aid Application beginning December 1, 2004. Additional documentation is required for Home Education, GED, and Out-of-State applicants.
