Delaware SEED Scholarship Program

The Delaware SEED (Student Excellence Equals Degree) scholarship program provides tuition for full time students enrolled in an associate's degree program at Delaware Technical & Community College (DTCC) or the Associate of Arts program at the University Of Delaware (UD). The program is for Delaware students who stay in school, work hard, and stay out of trouble. Students graduating from Delaware high schools beginning in 2006 who have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and no felony convictions are eligible. More details on these eligibility requirements are available at the eligibility page. The first step in applying for a SEED scholarship is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This process can be started online as early as January 1st, 2006. Even if you think you will not qualify for any other financial aid, you must complete the FAFSA application to be eligible for SEED money. DTCC and UD both have separate application processes. Please see their websites for more information and application deadlines.
