Colorado Tech University (CTU) in Colorado Springs, Colorado offers a co-op internship program for students in all of their graduate Masters programs. International students can work up to 40 hours per week in practical training jobs for which they are paid regular wages. All of the internship employment positions are with off-campus American based companies in the Colorado Springs and Denver areas.

This Helen M. McLoraine scholarship is for individuals who have been in the Colorado foster care system for at least 2 years between the ages of 13 and 18, and are planning to attend a college, university, or trade school. The application deadline is in May.

Colorado journalism students who complete an internship between August 2010 and August 2011 at a Colorado Press Association newspaper are invited to apply for this scholarship. Up to six $2,500 scholarships will be awarded. An application packet containing sample work and experience at the internship should be postmarked by August 17.

Jiffy Lube is offering a number of scholarships to students who reside in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Utah.

As part of Colorado State's Internationalization Plan, The Office of International Programs (OIP) has developed a scholarship program specifically to support undergraduate study abroad. Approximately 60 awards ranging from $200 for the summer, $500-$750 for a semester, and $750-$1,000 for an academic year are granted by the scholarship committee. The Colorado Restaurant Association Education Fund (CRAEF) offers three scholarship programs for students interested in foodservice or hospitality careers. 1) Prostart Scholarship awards graduating Colorado ProStart students 2) Undergraduate Scholarship is for those pursuing a bachelor's degree, associate degree or certificate. 3) The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Colorado Scholarship awards high school and college students pursuing a degree or certificate from the School of Culinary Arts at the Colorado Institute of Art.
