Delaware SEED Scholarship Program
The Delaware SEED (Student Excellence Equals Degree) scholarship program provides tuition for full time students enrolled in an associate's degree program at Delaware Technical & Community College (DTCC) or the Associate of Arts program at the University Of Delaware (UD). The program is for Delaware students who stay in school, work hard, and stay out of trouble.
Students graduating from Delaware high schools beginning in 2006 who have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and no felony convictions are eligible. More details on these eligibility requirements are available at the eligibility page. The first step in applying for a SEED scholarship is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This process can be started online as early as January 1st, 2006.
Even if you think you will not qualify for any other financial aid, you must complete the FAFSA application to be eligible for SEED money.
DTCC and UD both have separate application processes. Please see their websites for more information and application deadlines.

Arizona State University Scholarships
ASU offers a number of different scholarships, the largest group of which are the scholarships offered through the New American University Scholarship and Financial Assistance Program.
ASU's New American University Scholars are highly accomplished students who match the university's quest for excellence and who would be ideal students to join ASU in meeting challenges that make a difference in the world. To be a New American University Scholar means more than assistance with financing your education, it includes a unique opportunity to begin making a difference while you earn your degree.
There are other scholarships at ASU with more specific criteria, and with varying deadlines and application requirements. The best way to find any relevant scholarships is to use the scholarship search.
The Graphic Communications Scholarship
The Foundation provides financial support to New York City metro area students pursuing careers in graphic communications.
The deadline for Applications for the 2011-2012 school year is
Monday, May 16, 2011.
Winners will receiver their scholarships in June at the Graphics Scholarship Award ceremony.
In addition to providing money for college, we help mentor and advise students from middle school through graduate school, coordinate internship and work/study opportunities, and help to increase awareness of rewarding careers in the graphic communications field. We review learning resources, training aids and educational materials and develop the criteria to certify the skills and recognize the accomplishments of young graphics professionals.
University of Alabama Scholarships
Academic scholarships are merit-based, requiring that students earn certain grade point averages and/or scores on the PSAT, SAT, or ACT to qualify. Here is a sampling of what UA and other sources have to offer-but remember, it's important to investigate as many options as possible.
To select scholarship recipients, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the National Alumni Association, and The University of Alabama's undergraduate colleges and schools use the scholarship application on myBama for freshman and transfer students and a separate application for currently enrolled students. Student Financial Aid will use this information for non-need based scholarships as well.
Entering freshmen, transfer students, and current University undergraduate students who apply will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible, with the exception of those offered by Air Force ROTC, Army ROTC, and the College of Continuing Studies.
Note regarding Academic Common Market: A student who receives a scholarship that pays full tuition or the out-of-state portion of tuition is not eligible for an Academic Common Market scholarship. See acm.ua.edu for more information.

Don't forget that some scholarships require supplemental information in addition to the UAOnline application. Use the tabs on the left side of this page to view a complete list of UAA scholarships by the College you belong to and don't forget to check through the UAA General & Misc. Scholarships to view scholarships that all students, regardless of degree program, may be eligible to apply for. Although there is only one main, scholarship application, scholarship titles followed by an asterisk (*) require some form of supplemental, additional information.
Complete a 2010/2011 FAFSA by the February 15, 2010 deadline to increase your chances of receiving a scholarship. There are two reasons why completing the FAFSA is important. Some scholarships require that student demonstrate "financial need" to receive an award. What does it meant to demonstrate financial need? Financial need is the difference between annual college expenses and a determination of what a family can afford to contribute toward those costs. So don't skip filling out the FAFSA and applying for "need based" scholarships just because you and your family do not qualify for financial aid. Demonstrating "financial need" and being eligible for grants are not the same thing. The second reason why filling out the FAFSA is important is because but it provides biographical information that can be used to help identify eligible applicants for some scholarships.
First time college students applying for scholarships should make sure we have at least a partial High School transcript (final High School transcripts are typically required for Admission purposes upon graduation) on file in order to evaluate your GPA and determine whether you meet the GPA requirements for individual scholarships.
