2010 ASSE Foundation Scholarship Award Program new
The American Society of Safety Engineers awards a number of scholarships to full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health or closely related field.
HSF/ State Farm Insurance Scholarship new
The HSF/State Farm Insurance Scholarship Program is designed to assist graduating High School seniors obtain a bachelor's degree. In order to qualify for this scholarship students must either attend a State Farm sponsored Town Hall Meeting (THM) that is held in the Fall 2009 at East Los Angeles Roosevelt Senior High School or Santa Ana Segerstrom High School or Attend the high school where the event took place (East Los Angeles Roosevelt Senior High School or Santa Ana Segerstrom High School).
National Federation of the Blind 2010 Scholarship Program new

Moody's Mega Math Challenge new
Want to know if the stimulus act will work or whether ethanol is the right choice for U.S. energy independence? Need advice on how to beat Wall Street? If so, you may want to consult a high school student! These are topics that have been tackled in past Moody's Mega Math Challenge competitions, where teams of students are given 14 hours to solve an open-ended, realistic, applied math-modeling problem focused on real-world issues, and are able to use any free, publicly available, and inanimate sources of information to help them. Registration is now open for the 2010 M3 Challenge which will be held during the weekend of March 6-7. The Challenge has expanded this year to include high schools along the entire East Coast, from Maine to Florida. Scholarship prizes have also increased—$100,000 will be awarded in 2010. There are no entrance or participation fees and each high school may enter up to two teams of three to five students each.
2010 - 2011 Google Lime Scholarship for Students with Disabilities new
Recipients of the Google Lime Scholarship will receive a scholarship for the 2010–2011 academic year. Selected students will also be invited to attend the all-expenses-paid retreat at the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA, in 2011. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of candidates’ academic background, leadership and passion for computer science - $10,000USD for those studying in the US and $5,000CAD for those studying in Canada (based on average tuition costs).
Beatrice E. Griggs Scholarship new
The Beatrice E. Griggs Scholarship award is given to an individual who is currently enrolled in a MLS program working toward the school library media certificate. The amount of the award is $1,000 and registration to the SLMS Spring Conference.
Guardian Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Program new
This annual Guardian's initiative is designed to reward the enterprising spirits of girls ages 12 to 18. Guardian awards prizes to 15 girls who demonstrate budding entrepreneurship; are taking the first steps toward financial independence; and make a difference in their schools and communities. Every year, prizes totaling $30,000 are granted to three top winners and 12 finalists each year, to further their entrepreneurialpursuits or save for college.
Dixie Youth Baseball 2010 Scholarships new
From the very beginning, the leaders of Dixie Youth Baseball knew they wanted to develop a college scholarship program that would help former players obtain a college education. To be eligible for this scholarship the only qualification is that you must have at one time played in a Dixie Youth Baseball league. There is no relationship between the award of a scholarship and athletic ability. In the selection process, the Scholarship Committee, composed of National Directors, does give weight to such other factors as financial need, scholastic record and citizenship. Only students entering college for the first time may apply for a scholarship.
ACLU of Utah Youth Activist 2010 Scholarship Program new
The American Civil Liberties Union of Utah's annual Youth Activist Scholarship Program will recognize Utah high school seniors for civil liberties activism with $1,000 scholarships. The winners will be entered to win one of 15 $7,000 scholarships from the ACLU's national office. That group will then become part of a group fostered by the ACLU national office.
To qualify, students must demonstrate a strong commitment to civil liberties through some form of activism, be a high school senior who will be entering an accredited college or university as a full-time student during the next academic year, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
SAA Native American Scholarships in Archaeology new
The Native American Scholarships Fund is an endowment established to foster a sense of shared purpose and positive interaction between archaeologists and Native Americans. Scholarships are open to all Native peoples from anywhere in the Americas, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Indigenous Pacific Islanders.
