The University of Arizona
The Wildcat Excellence Award, Arizona Excellence Award, Regents High Honors Endorsement Award and the President’s Award for Excellence. These are Tuition Awards/Scholarships.
In order to receive and renew your scholarship, you must:
* Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
* Be classified as an Arizona resident for tuition purposes to be eligible for the Wildcat Excellence Award, Regents High Honors Endorsement Award or President’s Award for Excellence
* Be classified as a non-Arizona resident for tuition purposes to be eligible for the Arizona Excellence Award
* Enroll full-time at the UA (12 unit minimum per fall and spring term) in coursework in pursuit of an undergraduate degree beginning in the Fall 2007 semester
* Maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative UA grade point average
* Complete at least 24 units per academic year for a total of eight semesters, interrupted only by approved and documented leave of absence from UA and/or request for deferment
How your funds will be applied:
* No funds will be posted to your UA Bursar account unless you are enrolled as a full-time student at The University of Arizona
* Your scholarship will be applied first to UA tuition. Remaining funds (if available) may be applied to other education-related expenses
* Students offered multiple Tuition Awards will receive the benefit of ONLY the highest award. Multiple Tuition Awards do not pay in addition to each other.
* Your scholarship will be adjusted if you utilize the Qualified Tuition Reduction benefit afforded to dependents of university faculty and staff or if you utilize other tuition reduction programs
* The National Merit Semifinalist, National Merit Finalist, National Achievement and National Hispanic Award Programs supersede the President’s Award for Excellence, Wildcat Excellence or Arizona Excellence Awards
