Wal-Mart Walton Family Foundation Scholarship (Visit this link)
The Walton Family Foundation Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship payable over four years. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who are the children/legal dependents of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Associates employed full time (34 hours per week or more) for at least one year as of January 20th. 150 recipients will be selected from all qualified applications submitted company-wide. An independent panel of judges will select the recipients on the basis of academic record, ACT/SAT test scores, financial need, and leadership examples through school and community involvement. Wal-Mart will not tolerate discrimination on the basis of race, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, religion, disability, ethnicity, national origin, marital status, veteran status, or any other legally-protected status. Winners will be notified by May 1st. The list of winners will be made available on the WIRE for Associates.
