Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship
Seniors and alumni of The University of Texas at Tyler may compete for graduate scholarships through the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, said Dr. Mil Clark, associate vice president for academic affairs.
The scholarships will be awarded in early summer 2006 for use during the 2006-2007 academic year, and may be renewed in the following years based on performance.
Students and alumni may earn up to $50,000 a year for six years through the foundation.
The fund was established by the estate of Jack Kent Cooke in 2000 to help young people reach their full potential through education.
Students who wish to apply must submit an application through the Office of Academic Affairs. For more information, call (903) 566-7447.
