American Cancer Society Ohio Scholarships
Award
An American Cancer Society Youth Survivor Scholarship provides $1,000.00 to recipients for the upcoming academic year. All scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the American Cancer Society's volunteer scholarship committee based on scholastic performance, community service, and leadership. Former applicants are encouraged to reapply annually.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. resident of Ohio
2. U.S. citizen
3. diagnosed with cancer before age 21
4. under age 25 at the time of application, and
5. plan to attend an accredited university or community college in the United States.
How Do I Apply?
Youth Survivor Scholarship application packet (276 KB)
Applications must be postmarked by February 1, 2006 to be considered for the upcoming academic year.
