Kean university offers a variety of scholarships recognizing academic achievement and helps qualified undergraduate and graduate students meet the financial requirements of attending college. this handbook outlines scholarships granted through the University’s Office of Scholarship Services, along with application
criteria and deadlines.
scholarships fall into three main categories- Freshman Merit, Distinguished Freshman, and Kean University Foundation. Please note that each student is limited to receiving one Freshmen Merit Scholarship or Distinguished Freshmen Scholarship. However, qualified students may receive Kean University Foundation Scholarships in addition
to any other funding. Total awards cannot exceed the cost of attendance, which may include expenses such as tuition, fees, room and board.
