NIJ FSF Forensic Science Scholarship
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) has partnered with the Forensic Sciences Foundation (FSF) to begin a collaborative relationship of shaping the next generation of forensic scientists. The FSF will offer scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students of FEPAC accredited programs at Colleges/Universities. This is a three year program with individual awards being made in August 2009, August 2010, and August 2011. Award amounts will vary, but will not exceed $7,000 per award. Each submission will be peer-reviewed by the award committee and NIJ, and awards will be made based on, but not limited to, the quality and technical merit of each proposal, impact of the proposed project, and capabilities/experience of the applicant.
