Wellesley Scholarship Foundation Donald P. Babson Merit Award
The merit scholarship is to be awarded to "a male student who is a resident of the town and whose academic motivation is strong. The recipient should demonstrate a high level of distinction in scholarship, citizenship and character as well as strong extracurricular interests and activities." The first Donald P. Babson Merit Award was given in 1999 to Andrew Ferrer. The award is a $1,500 scholarship renewable for four years.
