AIGA Boston Tim Moore Scholarship (Visit this link)
AIGA Boston is honored to offer a scholarship in memory of our colleague, Tim Moore.
An inspired painter, graphic designer and musician, Tim saw travel as an exhilarating way to come alive to new ways of seeing the world. His sudden tragic death at the age of 54 was an incomprehensible blow to all who loved his marvelous spirit, mischievous wit, and brilliant creative eye.
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
1. Be a junior or senior in an accredited graphic arts program in New England, applying for a semester of study abroad.
2. An official scholarship application. (Downloadable from the Printing and Publishing Council website, http://www.ppcne.org/scholarships_Moore.html).
3. Willing to keep a sketchbook of your adventure abroad that will be submitted to the Board of Directors of AIGA Boston to be used at a future date as a possible fundraising tool.
4. Submit current transcripts, current registration forms from your school along with acceptance documents of your program abroad.
All applications must be submitted no later than April 30, 2007. The Printing and Publishing Council of New England along with members of the AIGA Boston community will review applications and make their decision by May 30, 2007.
