Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarships
Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarships support American students of Polish descent for full-time graduate studies in the United States, the one-year Master's program at the Center for European Studies, Jagiellonian University, Cracow, and English Schools of Medicine in Poland.
Funding is for academic year 2006-2007. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $7,000.
* Kosciuszko FoundationTuition Scholarships have been used to support studies in architecture and city planning; accounting; art; business administration, banking and finance; chemistry; dentistry; education; engineering; journalism; law; music; medicine; medical research; social and applied sciences; sciences, violin and piano; Polish language, history and literature.
* Scholarships have also been awarded to Americans of Polish descent for law and engineering at DePaul University, Chicago; Bayonne, NJ residents studying nursing, teaching and business; and to Amsterdam, NY, Chicopee, MA and New Hampshire residents.
Tuition scholarships do not support Summer programs in Poland, year long language programs in Poland nor proposals for research in Poland - please see Summer Programs, Year Abroad Programs and Studies & Research in Poland Programs.
Eligibility
Applicant must be a United States citizen OR a permanent resident of Polish descent AND be an undergraduate senior, an entering graduate student OR a current graduate student, AND have a minimum GPA of 3.0. A United States citizen may apply for funding to support full-time graduate level Polish studies.
