Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria Scholarships (Visit this link)
The Knights of Columbus Supreme Council awards 62 Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria Scholarships annually to U.S. students. Twelve scholarships are available at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Fifty scholarships are available to students entering other Catholic colleges or Catholic universities in the United States.
An applicant must be:
1.
Entering freshman year of an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor's degree at a Catholic college or Catholic university in the United States.
2.
A member in good standing of the Knights of Columbus, the son or daughter of such a member or deceased member, or a member in good standing of the Columbian Squires. (Not limited to Fourth Degree members.)
The scholarships of $1,500 each are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and are renewable each year of study, pending satisfactory academic performance, to a total of four years.
Forms for the scholarships at The Catholic University of America should be obtained from the university's Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.
Incoming freshmen planning to attend other Catholic colleges or Catholic universities may obtain applications for Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria Scholarships after Oct. 1
