Kentucky Equine Education Project Scholarship
The Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP) board of directors has announced an annual $1,000 scholarship program for five in-state undergraduate students working toward a career in the equine industry.
The KEEP Scholarship will be awarded to legal Kentucky residents, who are full-time juniors or seniors in college. The potential students also must have a 2.5 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale and be current KEEP members.
The purpose of the scholarship program is to provide assistance to students pursuing a career in the horse industry and demonstrating a commitment to Kentucky's equine heritage. Eligible students must also demonstrate financial need, academic success, hard work, and determination.
The deadline for this year's scholarship is June 15. All five winners will be awarded before the start of the fall 2006 semester.
Approximate scholarship value: $5000
