The BlackStudents.com Scholarship Essay Contest will award $500 to an African-American student. The scholarship is NOT an academic scholarship - It is entirely based on an essay submission.
Who's Eligible?
To be eligible for the scholarship award, one or both of your parents must be African-American. The award is not open to students who live in Africa. You must live in the United States, and attend or plan to attend a school in the United States. The institution you choose can be any trade school, college, or university.
