AIST Benjamin F. Fairless Scholarship
This scholarship is administered by the AIST (Association for Iron and Steel Technology) Foundation on behalf of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petrolium Engineers (AIME). The Fairless Award was established in 1954 by a grant from U.S. Steel Corp. in memory of its longtime Chairman of the Board. The scholarship recipient is selected from candidates in the leading metallurgical departments in North America.
