The Department of Defense (DoD) provides scholarships to undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students who have demonstrated ability and special aptitude for training in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) fields.

The Warren L. Davis Scholarships are approximately worth $125,000 over four years. These scholarships are for full tuition to Albright College and two are awarded each year. Students may renew the scholarship providing they maintain a 3.3 GPA.

It's a new college scholarship program that rewards students for their innovative use of technology in their schoolwork. This year, we will select ten college-bound high school seniors from across the nation based on each student's innovative use of technology in academics. Show us your best work, and you could take a MacBook Pro, iPod nano, and $2000 to campus next fall. All of which will make college life a great deal easier.

The Sam Walton Community Scholarship program, now in its 25th year, is designed to provide financial assistance to graduating seniors for their high academic achievement, example of leadership through school and community service activities, and financial need. More than 6,700 top-notch high school seniors will receive $1,000 scholarships thanks to the Sam Walton Community Scholarship program funded by the Wal-Mart & SAM'S CLUB Foundation. Each Wal-Mart Store, Neighborhood Market and SAM'S CLUB has the opportunity to award two such scholarships to be used for the student's fall 2006 freshman year tuition, books, fees and on-campus room and board at a U.S. educational institution. Each operating Wal-Mart store and SAM'S CLUB has the opportunity to award two $1000 scholarships to qualifying local high school seniors. An independent panel of judges will select the recipients on the basis of financial need, academic record, ACT/SAT test scores and examples of leadership in school and in the community .
